Meet Your New Community Coordinator
Meet our new Dwell Community Coordinator, Andrea Paiva! Andrea recently joined Dwell at the beginning of September and she is serving the Dwell Trifecta properties! Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Andrea speaks fluent Spanish and prior to this role, she taught Spanish at a middle school in Atlanta. Andrea is passionate about encouraging others to live to their fullest potential and is currently pursuing her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and going out to dance salsa. Make sure to introduce yourself when you see her!
Movie Night
Our Dwell Trifecta movie night was a success! Although the event got rained out, we quickly moved everything inside to the 1794 basement and with the help of wonderful volunteers, had the movie set up right on time! Boss Baby (2014) was a huge hit and kept everyone laughing. Popcorn, ice pops and candy were enjoyed by all and we had a full house in the basement!
Ice Cream Social
The Ice Cream Social at our 555 property was a fun time! We didn’t let the rain affect our plans as many families came by for ice cream and enjoyed a time of socializing with other neighbors. The ice cream went fast, as we had over 120+ people show up. Many families got to meet the New community coordinator, Andrea and got a break from the heat with some yummy ice cream!
Fall Break Camp
We had a great time at Fall Break Camp this past week! Ms. Andrea (the community coordinator) met some of the most respectful, kind and eager students. The theme was Spy Kids Camp. Our elementary students went through a training camp to prepare them to officially become Spies. Some of our activities included a laser beam challenge, taste and smell challenge, an outdoor spy challenge and a tower building challenge. We hope the students enjoyed it as much as Ms. Andrea enjoyed being with them!
Fall Fest
The rain did not keep us from hosting the biggest event of the year! Our Dwell Marietta Fall Festival was a great time with bounce houses, pizza, a dj, Jasmine from Aladdin and more! We had over 100 kids and parents show up and we made memories that will last us through to the following year. We are so grateful to all of our staff and volunteers for making this a wonderful event for the neighborhood!
Pie Party
We had an amazing time at Dwell 1794 for last months pie party! We had a variety of pie, games, prizes and tons of laughter. Our families played with puzzles, board games, wrote thank you cards to those they love and appreciate. Not to mention, one of our very own, Mrs. Dozier got pied in the face! Our kids loved every moment of it and everyone left with full tummies and cheerful spirits!
